TEXT ON BACK: Throughout June to August the MARBLED WHITE, with its distinctive markings, flies in central and south west counties. It is found in areas of wild grassland, often nectaring in groups with open wings. Seen here with a COMMON BLUE feeding on birdsfoot trefoil.
